kei's passion has been music since he was a teenager—the young guitarist joined his first band when he was only 14 years old. Though the recognition only came after he joined the popular band baroque in 2001, in which he stayed for approximately four years, the guitarist managed to captivate fans from all over Japan with his original sound.

Now as a solo artist, kei experiments with an extensive range of musical influences, creating electronica-rock, which sometimes may sound dreamy, relaxing or upbeat and catchy.
