BAND-MAID Reveal "Bestie" Music Video

As previously reported, all-female rock band BAND-MAID released a new digital single titled Bestie co-written by Mike Einziger, the guitarist from American rock band INCUBUS, on April 17th.

BAND-MAID made a special guest appearance at INCUBUS’s Tokyo Garden Theater concert held on May 1st, where they debuted the new song. It was already announced that they would perform the song, but Einziger also made a surprise appearance on stage with BAND-MAID that day. After performing the song Choose Me, the members called him to the stage, and he joined them on guitar for Bestie. Photos from the concert are available further down the page.

At midnight on the same day, BAND-MAID's official channel surpassed 200 million views, and they released the music video for Bestie. This video is their first without the members wearing their signature maid costumes. The soft off-white costumes, tailored to match the song's image, were produced by vocalist SAIKI, aiming to present a fresh visual contrast from their usual attire.

Additionally, live footage from their 10TH ANNIVERSARY SPIN OFF show held at ZEPP YOKOHAMA on February 22nd was recently made available for streaming. Tickets to watch the archive of the stream will be available for purchase until May 28th. More information is available here.

BAND-MAID is also gearing up for a special performance with the Mexican band The Warning, which will be held at Tokyo Roppongi EX Theater on June 12th. It was noted that other collaborations with global artists will also be coming in the future.
